The Demons District Football Umpires Association (DDFUA) is an incorporated association based in the south‑east metropolitan region of Western Australia and proudly affiliated with the Metro Central Regional Development Council.

We are a community built on strong values, high standards, and a shared commitment to the game. Our purpose is to provide an environment where umpires can learn the craft, grow as people and officials, and receive the support they need to reach their goals. Just as importantly, we strive to create a welcoming and enjoyable space where members can connect, develop, and take pride in representing the #RedandBlack.

The DDFUA is guided by a dedicated committee that sets the strategic direction of the association and fosters unity across the group. Working closely with the Operations Department, we ensure umpiring within the district is delivered professionally, impartially, and to the highest possible standard. The Operations Department oversees coaching, education, and on‑field development, helping every umpire progress at their own pace.

Our members come from a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and experiences — but all share a love of Australian Rules Football and a commitment to supporting grassroots sport. Whether they are brand new to umpiring or continuing to build on years of experience, our members work to improve themselves, uphold our values, and help create an environment where junior footballers can develop their skills and enjoy the game.
