All Australian Umpire Brett Rosebury has been appointed to his fourth consecutive AFL Grand Final. Rosebury, who will again be entrusted with the opening bounce, will take the field with Shaun Ryan and Chris Donlon.
Donlon will make his debut on the big stage.
Donlon said he was thrilled to be named for his first Grand Final.
"Really excited. I'm rapt to be involved and to get an opportunity. I'm rapt to be involved with Brett and Shaun. We team really well," Donlon said. "Any of the six umpires who umpired on the weekend could have done an equally good job."
Rosebury won't be the only DDFUA umpire on the MCG for the big day. DDFUA Green Shirt umpire, Cameron Peggs, will take to the field at half-time to umpire an Auskick game. Peggs, who was recognised as the DDFUA's Rising Star at its annual Trophy Presentation Dinner, was selected for a trip of a lifetime to the AFL Grand Final.
The red & black of the DDFUA will again be represented proudly on the AFL's grandest stage.
